Episode S16: Kickin back at the Crown[Archived & Ended]

 Having overheard the Senshi speaking about this place on more than one occasion Terrence finally found himself with some time on his hands between skirmishes with the Dark Kingdom and now finally stood just outside of the Arcade having used a map to find the place, folding the map he tucked it away into his new coat pocket having just picked up some new clothes prior. "Man..how many years has it been since I've had a chance to actually kill some time with arcade machines? Like..seven or eight years now.." he mused with a small grin as he entered taking note of the Fruit Parlor Crown located above with a thoughtful hum

 "Might be nice to have a treat after some gaming." he nodded as he approached the clerks desk and started exchanging several bills into coin for the machines, in the back of his mind he was justifying himself taking some time off like this to blow off steam after all the fighting *When I first got here I hoped I'd be given a chance to finally get away from conflicts but..shit if that wasn't a lost cause..well at least I ain't the one doin the heavy lifting this time.* he mused internally as he approached a Crane machine and dropped the bag of clothes he was carrying to plug a coin in and start playing the crane game, not really intent on winning anything just playing for the sake of it.

Ashley: May:  and Dawn:decided to hang out at the Crown Arcade for some downtime after Ashley had been revealed as Princess Solaria. The three girls also wanted to show off their new looks, should their loves decide to make an appearance. Though, the three girls were hoping to have a girls day out. If they  came across one of their allies, that was fine too. The three Leader-Class Sailor Guardians arrived at the Crown after using Dawn's Gate of Space Ability which had them arrive in a nearby Alley away from prying eyes. They couldn't help but wonder if their counterparts from the Moon Kingdom would show up as well, also Dawn was hoping to see Ami and Tetra as well.  As the girls entered the Arcade, they immediately went to the counter and ordered three Strawberry Smoothies.  Once they got their orders, they sat down.

"Wow," Ashley said to her friends, "I can't believe we found who we were looking for. I'm still trying to digest this all." Ashley then pet Pikachu on the head as she smiled.

Piplup nodded in agreement with Ashley from his perch atop Dawn's head as Dawn spoke up, "you know, all the memory flashes we have been having up until the last battle make complete sense now."

May had her Beautifly on her head as well. Next to her Blaziken, Beautifly was her favorite Pokemon because she was the first Pokemon that May caught by herself and the one that had help win her second contest and set her onto the road of Pokemon Coordinating. "Well, we certainly have been through a lot, all three of us. I'm so glad I met you girls. Oh and by the way Ash, I knew you were a girl from the first time we met."

"So did I," Dawn said with a giggle "I can't believe that Casey and Darcy didn't really know you were a girl. It was painfully obvious by the way you carried yourself when you first got to Sinnoh. I have a sneaking feeling that other traveling companions you traveled with probably didn't take long to figure it out. Except for maybe Iris, she seems kind of clueless sometimes."

"I know right?" Ashley said as she took a sip of her  Smoothie then continued, "I kind of want people to start looking at me as a girl, which is the main reason I'm dressed like this today."  Ashley knew what she was going to wish on the Bronze Crystal for. She wanted everyone to remember her as a girl, not as some guy that hid the fact that she was really a girl.

With his tongue out in a silly show of concentration Terrence did mentally make a note of the familiar girls entering the parlor just above the arcade, he couldn't go and greet them just yet as he was positioning the claw over some dragon type pokemon plushie "I'll get you this time.." he muttered having already failed twice before. He finally tapped the button for the crane to lower "Cmoooon.." he said while once more glancing up in the direction where he felt Ashley and her group was once they seemed to settle in. Returning his focus to the claw just in time to watch it..drop the plushy back into the pile "Fffff----fiddlesticks." he growled correcting himself before he could curse.

With shoulders slumping in an almost comical fashion he picked his bag of clothes up and slowly climbed up to the Fruit Parlor giving the 3 guardians and their pokemon a friendly smile "Ah, seems like I wasn't the only one whom had the idea to stop by here today, y'all waitin on others?" he asked as he took up a nearby table setting his bag on the ground beside it.

"We e-mailed the others saying to meet us here to hang out and play some video games, but we aren't sure if they will come or not," Ashley said to Terrence as she scratched Pikachu behind the ear, then continued, "yeah we were looking for a break after everything that has gone down as of late."

May then smiled and waved at Terrence, "some of the others may meet us here, but we haven't heard from any of them yet. So, what have you been up to since we last met? We haven't been up to much on our end, just doing some shopping for some new clothes."

After May finishes, Dawn speaks up as well, "we were craving some Fruit Smoothies so we came here. As Ash said, we aren't sure if anyone else will make an appearance here. Today is just kind of a lazy and relaxing day. It's nice not to have to fight for once."

Ashley and May nodded in agreement with their friend Dawn from Sinnoh. Today was indeed a lazy day indeed, one Ashley's Cousin could really relate to, but who knows if Usagi and company would show up or not.

Terrence nodded thoughtfully in agreement as the girls mentioned wanting a break after everything that has happened so far given he was here for a similar reason, he nodded back to May giving the teen a smile "Admittedly I've apparently been doing something along the same lines of what you three have been up to.." he trailed off briefly pointing down at the bag beside his table "Expanding my wardrobe a bit, I go through clothes at a fairly fast rate." He admitted with a wry grin which the girls would likely understand why given how he was always helping them out in their fights in normal civilian clothes.

He sat back in his seat lounging as he continued "Was actually just down at the arcade below when you girls arrived, lamenting my bad luck with a crane game, now as for what else I've been doing? Most of the time I spend out at my camp training my body and shooing away the occasional wild Pokemon that might stray too close to my campsite." He stretched his arms over his head briefly with a muffled groan "Still it isn't going to kill me to take a day off and just have some fun."

He idly glances towards the entrance "It wouldn't be a bad thing if your cousin or any of the others stop by, I fear I am lacking in the art of sustained conversation so I can hope more show up to pick up the slack" he mused poking harmless fun at himself.

Stephen was happy to be walking around again with no sign of rope to be found. He remembered the girls talking about some sweet arcade in town and Stephen found it and his eyes lit up!! he walked on in and looked around then saw Terrence and some of the girls. He quickly went over to them, "YO T-man what's up broski? Ashley, May, Dawn...whats good girls and Piplup...My main Water-type buddy and I didn't forget about the aerial beauty Beautifly and the best electric Buddie there is..Pikachu!! I missed you guys...let's just say that I prefer you all to those other guys, ya know..."

Ashley giggled as her, May and Dawn ambushed Stephen with hugs followed by their Pokemon giving Stephen hugs and cuddles. Ashley and the girls giggled as they released Stephen as Ashley was the first one to speak up, "so how is your new communicator working out for you? Is it working better than the one that was destroyed by some idiots."  Ashley only said those words after she scanned the area for innocent bystanders and not finding any.

"We missed you too Stephen," May said to him, "so how have you been since the incident?"

Dawn smiled, she was glad to see Stephen was okay. She then spoke up, "so have you caught anymore new Pokemon?"

The three girls scooted over a couple of chairs so Terrence and Stephen could sit down.

With a quiet chuckle Terrence remained seated while the tree girls ganged up to hug Stephan "Talk about a warm welcome! Seriously though welcome back Stephan I'm just here about to order somethin sweet to drown my sorrows and lament my terrible fortune with the crane game down in the arcade." he admitted with a honest laugh answering the young man's question once he had gotten untangled from Ashley and the others. His lip turned up amused at the last bit about their company being better "Compared to whom you were hanging around before it wouldn't take much at all to be better company." he remained at his table even after the girls made room for him and Stephan preferring not to feel too crowded, instead he went and made his order for an ice cream mountain with a straight face at that!

Surely he wasn't going to tackle the great pile of ice cream on his own was he? Without batting an eye he returned his attention to the girls and Stephan "Lets hope more of your friends do decide to take ya up on the suggestion to meet up here."

Stephen hugged everyone loving the fact that things were back to normal. "Well... yes and no...Yes to the comm working great and everything and I really haven't needed to change *Wink* anything about it. To answer the Marvelous May, I have been ok...just trying to find a new place to stay...not many places like blood and things on the walls...Terrence, you remember right when I got bit? anyway... I am doing ok but wandering a little now. Sadly No, Dawn...I need a place with better catching items..."

Stephen sat in the chair provided and then looked back hearing two words spoken by a friend of his, "Ice Cream!!" Stephen then went to him quickly putting an arm over his shoulder... "You spoke the magic words...I will help you!! We will win!"

Terrence slowly arched a brow as he slowly plucked Stephen's arm from around his shoulders before mock scowling "Oi I'm intendin to tackle ice cream mountain m'self, I'd make an exception for a cute girl but you my friend have to fend for yourself." he retorted with a chuckle.

[Ashley✭Ketchum]

The girls took a sip of their smoothies and smiled as the three of them looked over the Ice Cream menu. So much has happened over the last few months that they had forgotten what it was like just to hang out with friends and enjoy each others company.

Ashley glanced over to Terrence and giggled noticing the action that Terrence did, "Hey Stephen, you can share some Ice Cream with us if you want to. What kind do you like?"

May smiled at Terrence and Stephen, "We wouldn't mind sharing some Ice Cream with you either Terrence. I mean we are all friends here. Friends share Ice Cream Socials all the time."

"Ice Cream makes life worth living along with Pokemon Contests," Dawn said with a smile as she looked at the two boys, "are you two feeling a bit nervous in the company of three girls?" Dawn and the girls wink in sync toward the boys and smile just teasing them a bit. Yes they are all three taken, but that won't stop them from flirting with the guys a bit. Especially when they outnumber them.

Ryuusei had gotten a message about some of their group hanging out at the Crown. he had nothing going on that day, so he decided to drop by. Once inside, he spotted Ashley Dawn & May sitting with Stephen and Terrence.

"Yo!" He called over to them before ordering himself a chocolate shake. He pulled up a chair to their table. "Sup?"

Terrence chuckled as the girls offered to share his ice cream after he had good naturedly rebuked Stephan, he hummed briefly as if thinking about how to respond to their flirting but it was more he picked up on Ryuusei's presence as he started nearing the shop. He flashed Ashly, Dawn and May a friendly teasing grin "I'd normally say by all means you three could join in and share the ice cream I ordered buuut I'm not in the business of risking dealing with potentially jealous boyfriends catching their girl sharing an ice cream or somethin with another guy" he mused with a hearty chuckle. His brow raised at the flirting before shaking his head "Fraid you'll have to try a little harder than that to intimidate with just three of you, especially since y'all have someone y'like already!"

He made a 'hooh' sound as his order finally arrived with this absurdly large bowl of ice cream being deposited with a thud infront of him stacked with various scoops of differing flavors of ice cream encircled with sliced bannana topped with chocolate syrup, sprinkles and a cherry ontop of the heap of ice cream, something very apparently intent for more than one person to eat. "Oh baby this is going to be awesome..." he took a moment however to twirl the spoon in his fingers and point at Ashley and them "Sides in a moment we're about to not be outnumbered.." as if seeing the future a second later Ryuusei came in and ordered his Chocolate shake. "Yo! Good to see you. I'm drowning my sorrow at being a failure at crane games in ice cream." he joked as he started digging into the epic ice cream mountain.

Ashley gets a text from Gary. She turns on her PokeSmartGear and smiles as she giggles and grabs a bag that she slid under the table. "Gary is on his way here, I will be right back." Ashley then picks up her bag that was under the table and heads off to the Girls Restroom.

Gary had returned after disappearing for a couple of days after Ashley was revealed as Princess Solaria. There were times where he seemed distant, but he still cuddled and held Ashley tight. They still got along really well and act like a couple in love.

"May, where is Ash going?" Dawn asked her friend, "I thought she was going to stay here and have Ice Cream with us."

May giggled and smiled, "She wasn't sure if Gary was going to be here or not. She must have gotten a text message that he is on his way here. I think you will be surprised what she comes out looking like."

Dawn giggled, "you're right May, Ash was saving what was in that bag for something special. I guess Gary showing up is special enough."

After about fifteen minutes, Ashley returned in a different outfit. Her,  and Dawn looked kind of like sisters sitting next to each other. When Ashley came out, she looked like this:  

Just as Ashley was coming out, Gary:   saw her as he rushed in, picked her up Bridal Style and kissed her passionately. "Ashy-Girl, you look hot and Sexy!" Gary exclaimed as he came up for breath and set her back down. Now the guys outnumbered the girls, but Ashley didn't mind because her Gare-Bear was there with her.

Ashley giggles as she holds on tight to her love, "Thanks Gare-Bear. I love you so much!"

"I love you too Ashy-Girl," Gary said as he set his love down, "I'll get us an Ice Cream Mountain to share."

Ashley giggled and nodded as she blushed and sat down. Soon Gary had returned and set the Ice Cream Mountain between the two of them.

Darcy: comes in and sits across from May as she sets an Ice Cream Mountain down between her and May. "Hey May, you didn't think I was going to miss hanging out here did you? I got us an Ice Cream Mountain."

"Darcy Darling," May giggled and blushed as she grabbed Darcy's hands, "Thank you so much my love!"

"You're welcome MayMay!" Darcy said to her love.

Watching Ashley run off to go get changed Terrence grinned "Looks like someone is eager to show off for her boyfriend.." he mused playfully while he stabbed his spoon into the mountain of ice cream scoops and took a bite from it "Tis been too long.." he mumbled quietly as he enjoyed a few more bites before Ashley was scooped up by the newly arrived Gary and kissed. He arched a brow with a wry grin "Get a room you two!" he called teasing the lovebirds between another bite of his ice cream. He waved briefly as Darcy joined he group sittin across from May "Y'know at this rate the shop here will have to close up early if we eat all the ice cream" he stated with a chuckle noting how many seemed to follow his lead of gettin Ice cream Mountain.

He paused mid bite to suddenly jam the spoon into the great pile of ice cream and paused to let out a hiss of discomfort before groaning as he closed his eyes as if it would help with the oncoming brain freeze "There are many things I missed..this isn't one of em." he muttered in a good natured complaint.

Stephen smiled at Terrence and then the girls.

all of a sudden, Ryuusei, Gary and Darcy showed up joining their merry crew. "What's up, guys?" Stephen asked then saw Ashley leave to do something...

He then just blurted out to no one as he saw Gary react to Ashley's new look, "Wow...I wish I had someone to love..." then smiled to the couples in their party

Rei Hino: had finished her duties at the shrine for the day. She knew there was going to be a gathering of sorts for the Sailor Guardians and some of their allies. Everyone had received an invite. She had done some shopping recently and wanted to show off her new outfit. When she was younger she had a female Eevee and raised it from a hatchling. She eventually decided to Evolve it into Flareon and called her Felina. She always had her custom purple and red Pokeball within reach. This Pokeball contained Felina the Flareon, she just didn't really think it was worth bringing up, but she had been training a bunch of  Fire Pokemon on the side of being a Sailor Guardian and a Shrine Maiden. Felina was her favorite. She attached her custom Pokeball containing Felina to a locket chain and started wearing it around regularly. Among her team she had a Charizard with Charizardite Y, a Typhlosion, a Blaziken with Blazikenite, an Infernape and an Emboar on her. She kept other Fire Pokemon on the Grounds of the Shrine. Once she finished her chores and put on her new clothes, it was off to the Crown. She couldn't help but wonder if she would find a person of romantic interest there. Of course she would not mess up this chance this time. Her last Boyfriend had broken up with her because of how bossy she was. She even admitted she was bossy to herself, but decided not to tell Usagi and the others about it.

Rei smiled as she caressed Felina's Pokeball around her neck. She couldn't wait to see the looks on everyone's faces by not only her new outfit, but the fact that she was also a Pokemon Trainer.  As she walked into the crown, she was surprised by everyone already there. Though, she didn't see any of her other friends that she had originally met two years ago in there. She knew that Usagi and Minako would probably be late if they were coming, and she wasn't sure if either Mako or Ami would show up either. 

She saw everyone gathered at a really long table and pulled up a chair, "hey guys, I got the e-mail from Ashley, I was able to finish my daily chores early so I could hang out with everyone."

Rei looked around the room and saw Stephen, giggled and smiled, "hey Stephen, nice to see you again when you're not tied up."

Stephen was smiling as they all hung out then Rei showed up looking quite beautiful since he usually saw her at her Shrine or in her Sailor Fuku.

"Hey, Rei...hehe very funny about the tied up stuff... it's great to see you too and cute outfit.."

As they were talking Tetra ran to the door pulling Mako along as they were hanging out as friends and they joined the others...

"HI EVERYONE!!" Tetra was a bit hyper as Makoto came in trying to catch her breath..."Hey Dawn...calm your Girlfriend down...please"

Terrence had just pulled his palm away from his eyes as the first bout of what was likely to be a series of brain freezes as he continued his ice cream mountain to see Rei entered the crown offering the girl a friendly wave motioning for her to come join the gathering "Another has joined our little event, welcome Rei." he called before tucking the spoon into his mouth again to savour another mouthful of delicious ice cream. His lip turns up in a grin as he could sense a few more people incoming as well!

"Looks like the parade of friendlies continues on.." he mused with a laugh as moments later Makoto being pulled in by Tetra "This place is fillin up quick, better find seats." He nodded down at his treat before nodding to the others whom ordered the same thing "I kinda started a little fad here with this big ole heap of ice cream."

[Ashley✭Ketchum]

Dawn giggled as she ran over to Tetra and held onto her tight, "Tetra-Chan, give poor Mako a break. Something tells me you didn't have to drag her here." As she held Tetra close, she wrapped her arms around the older girl and passionately kissed her, "You're a sight for sore eyes, I've felt lonely over the last few minutes. Come with me and I will get us an Ice Cream Mountain to share." With that, Dawn escorted the blond over to the Ice Cream Counter.

Having gotten a message from Ash about hanging out at the Crown, Casey Nanako: arrived there and joined the others. She saw Mako's new look and immediately jumped into her arms. "Mako-Chan! You so totally look great!" Casey then passionately kisses Mako on the lips.

"So Mako-Chan what do you think?" Casey asked as she blushed while in her loves arms.

Waiting for Makoto, Tetra and of course Rei whom just arrived to settle in Terrence finally paused from his assault of his ice cream to speak up once more "So outta curiosity asides from stuffing our faces with ice cream today, what do you girls and gents have planned for the rest of the day?" He tilted his head in the direction of the arcade "Going to be headin back down there after I finish this treat, although I suspect I won't be goin back to those blasted crane games.." he grumbled obviously salty about his lack of success earlier!

"Yo!" Ryuusei casually greeted those who came in after him. He took a drink from his shake when Terrence asked them all what their plans were. "Sides watching you get brain freeze, not much. Really just chillin' today."

Mako kissed Casey back, "Can I just hold you forever, my angel?" She then kissed Casey again.

Tetra held Dawn as she ran to her, "I'm sorry my love.." She kissed Dawn back the same and went with her to get some ice cream.

Stephen then moved his chair closer to Rei and smiled to her..."Hows it going?"

At Stephen's compliment, Rei blushed and smiled, "Th-thanks Stephen. So how have you been?"

Rei then turned to everyone, "hey guys and girls, I want you to meet a friend of mine." Rei then reaches for the Pokeball on her neck and smiles. "Alright, Felina-Chan, come on out!"

When Rei threw it up into the air after making sure no one was near where it was going to land, the custom Pokeball opened up to reveal a very beautiful Flareon with bows in her hair. "Everyone, I would like you to meet my Flareon, Felina. I've raised her from when she was an Eevee Egg."

Ashley was excited and looked toward her love with a hopeful look on her face as she pulled Esperina's Pokeball from behind her back. "Esperina, I choose you!"

May giggled and pulled out her Glaceon's Pokeball, "Glaceon, take the stage!"

Esperina and Glaceon emerged from their Pokeballs and ran up to Felina. This gave Gary an idea as well, he pulled out Umbreon's Pokeball and threw it into the air, "Come on out Umbreon."

Umbreon emerged from his Pokeball and stood protectively next to Esperina, while at the same time greeting the other Eevee Evolutions present.

Terrence laughed at Ryuusei's comment even as he pressed a palm against his forhead after another mouthful of ice cream "Its been a very long time since I've enjoyed ice cream so a few brain freezes ain't really a big deal, sides lets be real here its not like I use my brain for anythin so it can freeze all it likes." he retorted with a grin. As Rei then the others started bringing out their pokemon he couldn't help but shake his head slightly "Oi oi..don't bring out too many pokemon in here, space is limited y'know?" He called out to the girls and Gary in a friendly tone as having so many out was making the area a little crowded!

"Anyways this is a great a way as any to enjoy a day off, I'm actually kinda lookin forward to hittin the arcade machines once I finish off this pile of ice cream.." he paused to take another bite having noticed it starting to melt a bit "I think I'll hit up one of the fighting games..maybe I'll find some inspiration.."

Vance soon came into the Crown, seeing the others and waving to them, arm-locked with Duplica in her latest outfit. As Vance saw Stephen, he looked to him. "So you made it after all." Vance said. "I'm glad I didn't rough you up too badly back there."

He was glad Stephen could make it after Psyral challenged Stephen following his rescue. Psyral never really wanted to attack Stephen, after all, but he needed to make sure that he was still the same Stephen he knew from high school. "So how is everyone?" he asked the others. "Clearly the ladies are looking their best today, though personally I think the best girl here is right next to me." He affectionally squeezed Duplica's arm.

[Ashley✭Ketchum]

Duplica: giggles and blushes at the compliment from her love. She then gives Vance a sad puppy dog face as she looks into his eyes with a pleading look on her face as she looks around, "Vance sweetie, could you please share an Ice Cream Mountain with me?" Duplica then flutters her eyelashes as she looks into Vance's eyes.

Rei smiles at Stephen and blushes as she looks at Felina play with the other Eevee evolutions, "It's going well. I'm glad we decided to hang out here and relax after the rough battle we just had. So, what have you been up to since we rescued you?"

At Terrence's outburst the group chuckles as everyone except Rei returns their Eevee evolutions. Ashley speaks up as she lays her head on Gary's shoulder, "yeah Terrence does have a good point, although I think we just  brought out our Eevee evolutions for Felina to meet. So does anyone have any idea what we could do after we finish out Ice Cream treats?"

May and the others were wondering the same thing. What could they do. It also looked like the group seemed to be the only ones left as everyone left. As of now, the group of heroes and heroine's had the whole Arcade and eating area to themselves except for the manager on duty. It seemed that their group was the biggest group the Crown had seen all day.

Stephen smiled at Vance, "Don't worry man...you could never really hurt me in the first place bro..." He smiled again then looked at Rei and her pretty Eevee. "Felina is super cute...just like her trainer! I would have Mimi come out but maybe I could show her off to you at the shrine...where it might be less crowded"

Nodding once to himself as most of the extra pokemon were tucked away once more Terrence couldn't help but arch a brow with a mischievous smirk as he overheard Stephan putting the moves on Rei "Already tryin to get the lovely lady alone are you Stephan? I didn't think you were already to that point." He teased with a playful grin referring going to her shrine where it wasn't crowded, he knew it was more because he just asked everyone to put the pokemon away because it was getting crowded but TK was feeling somewhat impish so made it sound like Stephan was tryin to get Rei alone or other reasons!

He offered Vance a slightly apologetic grin as he pointed to the ice cream fad goin on "I apologize for the pain your wallet is probably feelin ordering one of these." he mused with a friendly grin while watching Duplica beg him for a ice cream mountain to share. With that said he focused on Ashley's question and shrugged "I have a date with some of the fighting games down in the arcade after this, but seeing as I'm in town taking a break I might go hit up a pool later or somethin, got a hankerin for some swimming."

He shoveled another spoonful of ice cream into his mouth, the mountain deceptively low by this point from his constant attentions before continuing "I dunno what ya girls all do on days off, but maybe a shopping trip together for clothes.." He nodded down to his own bag of clothes "or accessories if there has been a special somethin you've been wanting to get a pokemon for a while now?"

"Felina is super cute...just like her trainer! I would have Mimi come out but maybe I could show her off to you at the shrine...where it might be less crowded"

Felina, being the only Eevee Evolution left outside her Pokeball sniffs at Stephen's belt and roots around for something. She finds something, it's a Pokeball.  Felina takes the Pokeball in her mouth and runs out the door with it in her mouth.

Rei notices this and looks at Stephen, "um Stephen why did Felina take that Pokeball off of your belt and run out the door?"

Rei then gives chase to Felina knocking her Ice Cream Mountain all over the floor in the process. Ashley, May, Dawn, Duplica, Casey, and Darcy giggled at what just happened. Before Rei could get scolded she was already out the door chasing her Fire Eevee Evolution as one of the workers came out with a Broom, Dustpan, Mop, and Mop Bucket to clean up the mess.
